"On the edge of the town, a short walk to restaurants,beaches etc. steep walk back. Clean, well presented hotel, slightly dated but everything seemed to work. Book ahead for a parking space!"

"A really nice hotel, great location, fantastic lake view, great roof top bar and a genuine 4 star hotel. Good size rooms, friendly and helpful staff, especially the night staff. The only reason I did not give full rating is that the hotel organised a summer party one evening with live music. The event, which only was attended by circa 20-30 guests, took place outside by the pool and went on until midnight with extraordinary loud music which meant that all other guests had to stay up until this event finished. It really questions management’s understanding and consideration for all other guests that had paid for a hotel night/ a good night’s sleep and could not sleep. I believe the event only stopped at midnight because other guests, myself included, started complaining as initially the answer was that the party would end between 1-2 am."

"Wonderful, scenic location with outstanding views of. With a car, the whole of Lake Garda is very accessible and we found port parking to access ferrys and in town exploration very easy (even during Aug peak season). The restaurant was simply excellent - the staff, the food, the setting. Though not our intention, we dined at the property each evening given how beautiful and satisfying it all was. The menu is large and the pasta and desserts were particularly sublime. The hotel staff was beyond hospitable. Cannot recommend enough."

Domina Borgo degli Ulivi - Lake Garda

"This is our second stay at the Domina. The location above Gardone Riviera is magnificent! The rooms are spacious, clean and with well appointed kitchens with exception of no microwave oven. The folks are reception are very friendly and exceptionally helpful. We appreciate their assistance with recommendations and working through another issue. The pool is wonderful but is need of some repairs. The grounds of the property need improvement. Landscaping is a bit untidy and some outdoor lighting doesn't work. The hotel was filled with dogs. We are not fans of the barking and Europeans allow their pets to urinate on planters, the sidewalks and walls which is not washed off by the hotel staff. We appreciate the garage parking, but be prepared for riding a couple of elevators or walking stairs to get luggage to rooms. A nice reasonably priced hotel that could make a few tweaks."
