" A wonderful little cottage with an abundance of character, boasting everything you need for a week (or more) away. With a large master bedroom, nice sized bathroom and a well equipped kitchen. Nearby is a village pub and road links to Dorchester, Weymouth and others on the A35. The owners left contact details in case of emergencies, but otherwise were not intrusive. "Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

"This is not the Ritz - but there are some really good points - it's lovely and quiet - so a good sleep was easy. Take your own towels - ones provided were not great - I would also say take your own bedding. One major for a couple is the double is on a mezz and the toilet is down stairs - this didn't effect me as I was on my own so slept in the single room downstairs. Owner is lovely - and my stay in Sherborne very nice. Lovely place."
