Bearizona is a popular wildlife park with driving and walking sections. The park features a petting zoo and educational programs, making it great for families. Attend a keeper chat to learn about Bearizona’s conservation efforts. Explore the surrounding Kaibab National Forest, a picturesque wooded area with creeks, canyons and hiking trails.

Discover surprising sights within Bearizona’s 160 acres (60 hectares). Start with a casual ride through the Arizona wilderness in the drive-through section. The 3-mile (2-kilometer) journey offers views of the region’s native wildlife, including mountain goats, bison, arctic wolves and black bears.

Appreciate magnificent views of the surrounding ponderosa pine forest from the well-maintained gravel roads. Your vehicle must be completely enclosed to access Bearizona’s drive-through section however, guests arriving by taxi, motorcycle and bicycle are welcome to use courtesy cars free of charge.

Fort Bearizona, the walk-through section, is located after the driving section. The area contains winding walkways and enclosures for smaller animals. Learn about conservation and animal training during a keeper chat or attend a feeding session, where you can help feed otters. The walk-through section also features Bearizona Barnyard, a petting zoo with baby animals.

The park is home to High Country Raptors, a non-profit organization that aims to protect the region’s birds of prey through education and conservation. Hear about the organization’s history while attending a regular flight show. Depending on the day, you may get to see falcons, owls, hawks and other majestic birds of prey.

Find Bearizona about 175 miles (280 kilometers) north of Phoenix. The park is located in the Kaibab National Forest in Williams. The region is also known as the gateway to the Grand Canyon, a famous natural wonder and UNESCO heritage site. Discounted admission rates apply for children and senior citizens. The park is open year-round however, raptor programs do not run in January and February.
