"Front desk did not answer the phone. Pillows thrown at the bottom of the bed- no pillow cases on them. A pair of socks had been left on a shelf. Shampoo and lotion pumps almost empty. No hot water- barely warm in the shower. Of the 3 front desk employees we had contact with, only one was pleasant. Need to get their act together."

"Our first time to Beaufort and we stayed at the City Loft Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff and convenient access to our room. The location is spot on if you want to walk the sites of downtown. We'll definitely make this a top stay for us next visit"

"Stay was awesome. Staff was friendly except the lady that puts out the breakfast. She wasn’t rude just not responsive and seems annoyed to do her job. They were running out of things at the same time and maybe people were standing around waiting. Some people were irritated but we were fine. I would recommend them prepping better for faster turnaround. Overall a great experience and we will stay there again!"

There was only one elevator working and it was not in good condition. If the grounds and the amenities matched the level of the staff it would be a great spot to recommend for travelers."

"Not 4 star by a long shot. Dirty. Other people’s hair on bathroom walls, something wrong with building HVAC so loud required ear plugs to sleep. Room wasn’t serviced Saturday. Do not go to this hotel. "
