"This hotel is excellent, highly recommend 👌 rooms are spacious with everything needed, kettle with tea + coffee plus a coffee machine with pods. Very large super comfy king-size bed, complementary bottles of water on each bedside table, unexpected nice touch of a DAB radio playing low in the room, bathroom fully stocked with soap - shower gel - conditioner and loads of towels. Plus the room has hair dryer, iron and ironing board. This hotel is perfectly located only minutes walk from the castle. All the staff are helpful and friendly, breakfast is plentiful with a wide selection of both hot cooked food to a fully stocked continental section. A very nice hotel in every aspect, can't fault anything 👍"

"Room and bedroom were lovely, french doors with garden outdoor view , you would not expect that from the front door of your room and the front area , bit shabby and dated, saying that bathroom very dated was clean but could do with modernization. Pool was my biggest let down, small very busy and again generally little shabby , temp was good , but I didn't stay in for long , on our visit jacuzzi was full of young lads , all friends couldn't get near it . Quite a walk to breakfast from our room/ chalet, so took car ( disabled) breakfast very basic , can't say much more, not memorable. The area is beautiful, river and scenery, cute shops , obviously expensive, train area good place to visit , enough places to eat and get coffee , we come back regularly so great place. Carpark is broken up deffo needs attention. ."

"We stayed with our dog and were treated very well. The room in the townhouse was very large, bed very comfortable and well furnished and comfortable. We enjoyed a drink in the busy bar before a nice meal with excellent staff. Breakfast was excellent and again lovely helpful staff. Would recommend. "
