"I knew it would be “basic” when I booked the “hostel”, but I wanted to stay near Combe Laval for the views. Service was slow and the breakfast was non-existent. We decided only to have coffee in the morning, but the veg dinner option was, surprisingly, excellent and the best thing one can say about the stay."

"Location was very remote and you need to go by car to a restaurant. Unfortunately most restaurants are closed on sunday/monday and sometimea tuesdays especially during winter period. So no dinner when we came late in the afternoon. Breakfast was very nice. Next time I would choose for a hotel with dinner possibilties. "

"Used it for a 1 night stay during travelling. Nice with a cold dip in the pool. Breakfast was ok with a fair selection.
Reception offers to make frozen pizzas in their pizza oven, the result is amazingly good and just what we needed after a day of travelling on the road. "

"It was a vey old place and the rooms looked very old and broken and used. But it was only for a cheap quick stay for the night so didn’t expect anything more than that actually. "Not sure if it was because it was end of season but whole area in need of some tlc. Restaurant closed apart from pre ordered breakfast. Kitchen drawers had food bits in them an floor dirty. Not shown where bins or indoor pool was on arrival. Chair broken. A shame as has potential."

"I have used this accomodation for my travels since 8 years now and 2 times a year.
The service level is wors and wors... yesterday one cleark more ore less told me when i said " i dont speak france" that he told in bad eng " when you are in France, then you also must respect and understand our langue"...
I think i dont need to say more about that!!
And the place are more and more dirty and worned out.
Thank for this years, now new place when i passing by and maybee some cleaner and more friendly hotel."
