"Theresa was wonderful! Able to answer all the questions I had in the morning. But even though there was a sticker on the mirror saying everything was to be switched out (trash, towels, etc.) they never came by to do so! I had to ask for new towels and when I asked for a sheet change, I was told that I was going to be charged for it! And trashes, it was my responsibility to leave them out in the hall for them to be swapped out. I stayed for a week and they wouldn’t change the sheets unless it was over a week stay! Breakfast was okay. Only waffles bagels and cereal were the options. Water or coffee to drink. The overall stay was okay at best, but if they won’t hold up to there promise on the mirror they shouldn’t have the sticker on there. Just misleading people. "
"Hotel was updated clean and new staff was very nice and suggested things to do in Beaver Dam area
My only problem was that the pool area was so strong of chlorine smell that I couldn’t participate in swimming with my grandson because it affected my breathing , with that being said I feel that an exhaust system should be installed to make the pool area safer ! We come to beaver dam to visit our grandson and I might have to rethink staying at Comfort inn because I enjoy swimming with my grandson and because of this issue I can’t . Disappointed because I really liked the hotel . Sincerely, Tamara "
"Did not get the room I booked. Barking dogs all night in another room. Slipped on the uncovered, unsalted parking lot after it snowed and cut my knee up. Was then charged $20 for getting blood on their towels. Front desk not friendly."
"The person checking us in was wonderful and helpful. The hotel on the other hand is due for some renovation. The room was beat up and the toilet had a ring in it like it hadn’t been used in quite some time. It was very cold in the room we turned up the heat and couldn’t tell if it was doing anything. Went to the front desk was informed there were space heaters that needed to be turned on. She also attempted to clean the toilet but it needed more attention than she could give. Don’t believe the website I believe it’s from the previous owners the bar is closed on the property. All in all it was okay but a far cry from years gone by.
