"For the price this hotel absolutely exceeded expectations. Was a bit worried since the reviews were pretty varied. The room we had was clean, quiet, and the bed was really comfortable. This stay was remarkable enough for me to leave a review and I don’t do that often."

"The view of the lake from both the rooms in our 3rd-view suite was stunning, and the suite itself was lovely, plus the bed was super-comfortable.) Moreover, the hotel's superbly located for exploring the best of St. Joseph on foot. (It's only a short walk to the beach in one direction, and an even shorter walk to the heart of downtown in the opposite direction.) We had difficulty making the coffee-maker work but the front desk immediately sent a very helpful staff member to try and sort out the problem. When he couldn't do so either he came back a short while later with a new one. The dinner we had at the hotel restaurant was outstanding by any measure, and our server was excellent. Unfortunately, breakfast was nothing out of the ordinary. But it was the only blemish in an otherwise wonderful overnight stay."
