Overall this is an overpriced hotel! Pros: location is good, walking distance to mangal das garças and “old village”. Nice breakfast and lovely outdoor seating. Cons: room had a pile of dirty at the entrance. There was only one iron available (staff was unable to bring it to your room, you had to go downstairs to grab it and they took 10 minutes to find it(?) - overall the experience was disappointing.

Nice, historic hotel by the Botanical Gardens. Only complaint is that it would be nice to have some more vegetables available with meals. Lots of fish options but hard to get a simple fresh salad that doesn’t have lettuce. Big rooms, nice staff lovely outdoor dining

Hotel bonito e muito confortável, Serviço excelente, com muita simpatia e atenção. Tem um excelente restaurante. Localizado ao lado do lindo Mangal das Garças. A única questão - que não é do próprio hotel - é o caminho do acesso, que passa pela Cidade Antiga, ruas em condições sofríveis - mas isso não nos impediu de caminhar a pé até o mercado Ver o Peso e as Docas .
