Lovely hotel very close to the water taxi and within the area for tours to pick you up at the hotel. The staff is extremely nice and hospitable and the room was clean with shower amenities and a solid ac unit. There are two patios to sit on that overlook the river and there is coffee in the lobby in the morning. There are plenty of places to eat right near the hotel as well as a small grocery store across the street for water, etc…. I am a solo woman traveler and I felt very safe in this area and at the hotel. Great affordable option in Belize City, I highly recommend:)

We went as a group of 3 girls. The hotel was comfortable and the balcony provided a beautiful view. Free wifi and toiletries for use. The area felt safe and everything to see (muesuem, cathedral, water taxi, restaurants) were all within a good walking distance. Locals were friendly and open to chat. We saw food vendors by the bridge in the evening, but didn't stay out too late to see more. The staff are v friendly and helpful. They called a taxi for us when we returned from the islands which is much appreciated🙏 Thank you for a comfortable stay, Belcove staff!

Two stays at the Belcove.

The Belcove Hotel was cute. It's beginning to show its age, but then again so is Belize City as a whole. The rooms were clean and satisfactory.
