"I guess you get what you pay for. I was hoping to pay less than $100 for a night's stay on our 3 day cross-country trip. I was able to achieve that, but at a cost.
First, the rooms have been remodeled in the past few years and I'm not opposed to vinyl laminate plank, but my shoes slide across the floors like I was ice skating. My wife figured it was from all the product they likely use on the floors without properly wiping them clean. Needless to say, I didn't dare walk barefoot in the room.
Second, the free breakfast wasn't worth sticking around for. They did offer fresh made waffles, but aside from that instant oatmeal, dry cereal, yogurt and grocery store bagels wasn't going to cut it for us. Thankfully, there was a Buc-ee's about an hour down the road so we stoped there.
If you're looking for a cheap place to stay, this is it! However, don't expect much more than that."
