"First room 115 had wet carpet and odor when front desk told came to room and tried to stay it wasn’t wet then other person said it was wet requested a different room moved to 2nd floor better dry floor smelled better. The breakfast was not good only thing good was cereal and that’s if you use your own milk theirs was in a gallon jug in cooler that everyone used. 1st day biscuits were so dry they crumbled and gravy stuck to bottom of the crock pot. tried them 2nd day were softer but gravy was horrible. Waffles were make your own but batter was so runny they turned out rubbery and if syrup used it dripped from container took forever to get enough for waffle before realizing the waffle was not good and didn’t eat it orange juice was so bad I threw it away after 1st sip only positive was location"

"First time at this property. Rate was great, ample parking, room was very clean. Mini-frig and microwave very useful, given that area restaurants were closed early on Sunday night. Interesting concept with no manned front desk but remote access via a tablet in the lobby to connect with support personnel. Tailored to guests with a smart phone, check-in and key issuance is also possible for those without one. Everything about this process worked exceptionally well. Would definitely stay here again!"

"We love Die Heimat. It’s close to everything Amana and is just a short drive to Iowa City and Cedar Rapids. Karin provided excellent care for us and made sure we had everything we needed. We felt at home at the Inn. The area is peaceful and beautiful. Highly recommend stay here 😊"
