Great spot lovely food. We were not aware that we would have to pay extra to use the sauna and hot tub and not included in the booking like every other hotel. Also, the cabana booking should not be the same amount for hotel guests and outside pool guests. We had a friend come for an hour and we had to sit in the parking lot or pay 55$.

Amazing place.

Always love our stay here. The place is beautiful and the staff and owners are always so welcoming. This place will always have a special place in our heart. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in the county when we visit again. Can’t wait to go back next year.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights and while it was memorable, everything about the property felt very transactional and there’s a lot of rules that really cut back on fun/enjoyment. On the positive, the room was spacious, AC worked well, and the pool was nice. There is a dedicated parking spot for guests and it is walking distance to a great cafe and restaurant. There’s a firepit in the evenings. We paid $25 for earlier check in at 1pm to maximize the use of the pool. On the downside, the pool is only opened 10-6pm which is a bit early close for the summer months where sunset is 830-9pm. Check in is at 3pm and check out before 11am which makes it a bit difficult to enjoy ample time there. The restaurant was pricey for what they served, and the number of times we were asked if we wanted anything while trying to sit out by the fire pits in the evening was not enjoyable. Every amenity felt like it came with a sales pitch for food or drinks. Plenty of rules of no water bottles in the restaurant and pool areas, no food, etc which seems very counterintuitive to the “motel-like” experience but I understand they have day-use pool users that they want to capitalize on. We would not return as a motel guest as there are really not many benefits of being a guest at the Lakeside and the experience does not justify the price/value of the stay.

Great getaway location!

My wife and I stayed at the Lakeside Motel for 5 nights as a Fall getaway. The location and grounds are wonderful! The room was smaller than expected but was comfortable and clean. The service was fantastic! Overall a perfect choice for our getaway and we especially enjoyed being able to walk to great restaurants in Wellington.

What an absolute gem of a place. We stayed for one night to finish our vacation in the county, family of four with a teenager and 8 year old. We all loved the Lakeside Motel! The room was comfortable with everything we needed and nice modern decor. The pool area is amazing and the restaurant served great food with a beautiful view. We will definitely be back.
