The room was spacious and roomy. Staff were friendly and helpful (esp the person who helped fixed the bikes and the receptionist by the pool area.) We had a lot of fun @ the resort. There were plenty things to do, swimming, biking, playing pickleball, attending the zumba& taichi classes, making s'more, & strolling on the beach. Thank you for a memorable stay.

The beachfront location is second to none! The food was way below average and room itself needed some upgrading. The blinds didn’t work in our room and the shower was in need of repair. The water pressure was horrible. However, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It truly is a beautiful location. The fire pits located along the beach were quite lovely to sit around at night.

Balcony was ok but misleading as we were on the backside not ocean view Pool closed early for a summer night especially when its light out so late Dinner on the seaside patio was a highlight. Super expensive but amazing views and staff were nice. Portions were small

The amenities, the beach, the rooms and view are all great. The food service is VERY POOR. Incredibly slow in both Packers & Seaview Cafe. Clearly both restaurants are understaffed. Waited almost an hour for food. Finally had to give up and leave the property for meals on our final days. Second stay at Semiahmoo this summer and the poor wait service was the same. We love everything else, so we’ll give it one more shot later this month or next month. Sure hope there are restaurant improvements.

We spent three nights here in early July. The location is fantastic and the view over the bay is wonderful. The beach directly in front of the rooms was great to sit and watch life go by. The restaurant on site was good, with very good service. However, the property is starting show its age. It needs some TLC to get it back up to shape. Some paint, wood repair, room refresh and some landscaping on the beachside of the property would go a long way. All in all, we enjoyed our stay.

We pivoted to this place because of the unhealthy air quality in Chelan from the fires in eastern Washington. The resort itself is well maintained. The onsite bar was great but the restaurant itself was a little overpriced for what you get. We were surprised by the well equipped and decent sized gym. The pool, sauna and hot tub were great to use for a pool day. They even have a pickle ball court and the indoor tennis and basketball courts were happy surprise discoveries. The sunsets here were incredible. We ended our evenings with relaxing firepit talks and looking at the stars by the shore and you can’t beat the view. It definitely forced us to relax. Which, in this always connected world, it was probably much needed. Overall this place was great but the best part of this place was the staff. Everyone that we spoke to were very polite, patient and so helpful. I even witnessed a customer being rude to a staff member but they handled it with grace and professionalism. We will definitely be back again.

Pros: The best thing about semiahmoo is it’s by the beach. It’s beautiful especially when the weather is sunny. It was nice that the resort gives you sticks and kits to make smores on their beach. The pool is also nice to relax in. Cons: We were hoping to check in a little early after a long day of traveling but our room wasn’t ready until past 4pm. We got a $25 credit for waiting but a complimentary room upgrade would’ve been ideal or just give us another room that’s available! The “young” front desk staff didn’t seem very knowledgeable about their neighbors at the nearby cafe. We tried to get some info about their menu and service but the staff member seemed annoyed and didn’t want to provide any answers. Also, the carpets looked old and dirty in the room. May need to wash or replace them so the room looks and smells fresh.
