"Love this hotel its a family business. One of the bosses ask us want we would like to for breakfast, the next morning he had bagels delivered. My son loved the pool. Everything at this hotel was wonderful. Its clean with very friendly staff. If you travel to Alabama you wont be disappointed by staying at the Western hotel. Thank You to all the staff."
"The staff went out of their way to make sure were were comfortable after having a night of the comode running and a lumpy bed. But the next night and following nights were very comfortable."
"The room was clean, and spacious. The AC unit, while functional, was lacking clear buttons to operate due to overuse resulting in erased or worn out visual guides.
Also, the room doesn’t come with iron and ironing boards. I had to go downstairs and ask for it, and the hotel manager went into their office and provided me theirs. Super annoying!
Other than that, pretty good stay."
"The property was clean as well as the room. The parking was sufficient but less than desirable due to the layout and terrain. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. I did not care for some of the breakfast items like the eggs which apparently were imitation and the sausage which was highly processed and possibly imitation. However, there was some fruits and other items available. It was probably as good as any other place I've stayed though but not a good choice for diabetics. My stay was pleasant and all in all I would stay at this location again."
"The people are friendly. They don't do breakfast it's just a small motel in a small town that will be fine for some people & not others.
But the staff is great."
"Room was clean, pool was still closed for year but would have been nice of was open. During chek in was told a light breakfast of muffins and Danish were available but in morning nothing was in room and a almost empty single coffee pot was in room both days stayed. When attempting to check out the clerk was again missing from front desk and door was locked door room key was slid between doors. As mentioned the room was clean and McDonald's is across the street so was good for price paid."
