"I had a very pleasant stay at the resort. I booked one of the small cabins (queen bed) and it was very clean, shower, WC, and A/C worked well without any problems. I had a cute tiny lizard keeping me company in the cabin - perks of being in the jungle. :)
One guest mentioned the noise from the highway - the cabins aren't noise insulated, but the traffic is way less compared to other American cities.
The pool is not that deep so it's totally safe for non-swimmers and the pool area is well kept. I enjoyed just laying around, reading, and floating in the water. On the weekends they offer pool day passes to non-guests which is a nice touch.
The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Gene recommended a lot of activities and sightseeing opportunities available to tourists.
Plenty of parking was available and I was allowed to park close to the cabin.
I cannot say anything about the restaurant, since I ate outside the resort.
For my fellow European and North American travelers: this is a Belizean hotel and standards differ from your country. But I am sure you as well will enjoy your stay here."
"Amazing setting in the jungle, our room overlooked the river alongside the property, great experience overall! Staff were very friendly and helpful! Food was great! Lots of adventures to choose from!"
"Cute place tucked back a LONG bumpy rd! Good place to spend a night and wander around a bit… Rooms aren’t fancy but clean and comfortable and friendly staff!"
"It was a very good hotel. The location is excellent. The rooms were very clean. air-conditioning worked very good. No problem parking all the people were friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It would be nice if they had a little bar on the roof of the hotel have a cold beer or drink of some kind after you got back from one of your adventures in the city, but there’s lots of places very close to get something to eat or drink
"
"We didnt spend much time in the room other than to sleep.
Don't stay in room 24!! Every night there was a full choir singing very loudly until 9pm at night
The one night they were singing nursery rhymes, for no reason. The room was right next door and felt like they were inside our space!
The up side was the air conditioning was great. We stayed in a Junior suite, so it had a 5 gallon water bottle which we appreciated.
There was a kettle, so I brought oatmeal with me for a quick breakfast.
No towels in the room when we got there, but housekeeping was lovely and provided
The pool is great. We were in it around 230pm each day until sun was gone from it around 530pm
Bartender was not friendly at all. That part was a bummer
All other staff was very nice. Right across the street from a big, well lit grocery store as well which was handy. We walked to Guava limb for dinner one night as it was around the corner (delicious!)
King bed was comfy. 2 small twin beds were pretty hard."
"The AC was excellent, and so was the water pressure. A small, cozy room with a comfortable bed at a very reasonable price. The staff members are super kind and available for help. Moreover, you can't ask for a better location. This hotel is in the heart of San Ignacio. "
