"This was an amazing hotel. This was our first time staying here, and we will be life long guest. Our son is in the army and stationed at Fort Riley, a quick 26 min drive from this hotel. Not to mention all the things to do around the hotel that you can walk to!! Try varsity Donuts for sure , and the restaurant in Bluemont hotel was awesome! There is so much to do. Even though the College campus is across street it was so peaceful and not much street noise at all. The staff at the hotel were all wonderful and attentive. The parking lot is spacious and safe yes you have to pay for it (17$) a night but the lower cost of the rooms makes up for that! We had a 2 bed Queen suite it was such a big room lots of space, so clean the carpet was new, clean feel. The TV’s were a little out dated and small so no smart tv. However you could bring an Amazon fire stick. The showers were a bit small and out dated but again CLEAN!! the beds were firm but comfortable the pillows were nice. The lighting was great and lots of outlets to plug in iPhones, electronics, etc. the sofa bed mattress was nice as well my 13 year old said it was the nicest sofa bed she’s ever slept on. The buffet breakfast is very good only 10$ a person nice to have the option to eat there or not! The stay was exceptional."
"Excellent! Our whole stay was excellent from cleanliness of the room and dining area! Staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly.
Highly recommended hotel for your stay."
"The beds were so comfortable! Best nights sleep I have had at a hotel in a long time! The rooms were clean and the sheets were so comfortable! I loved the fresh cookies and a new bottle of water each day. The front desk was helpful and I was even able to check in early."
"The room was in very good condition. It looks as though it had been redone. However, parts not replaced showed wear. Rust on towel holder, drawers and doors on cabinet did not close. The outside looked dated too with chipping paint and rust on metal. Overall, however, it was a nice hotel."
"The property was undergoing renovations, but still managed to be clean. Al of the amenities were still accessible. Our double queen room was very spacious. Overall it was a pleasant experience that made our weekend trip much more delightful."
"Friendly staff! Nice outdoor pool (except someone using it daily for giving children swim lessons). It's a small pool & guest trying to relax don't like the shouting...."Kick! Kick! Kick! Kick!". Seems the pool was rented to the person giving swim lessons as they were not guests. They came & went from town. But, there are only 2 hotels in the area."
