"We loved the room, beds were comfy. I was disappointed that we didn't have bath robes as in the description but everything else was great! Having Netflix was a nice plus! The little fridge was great. I really wish the hotel would consider putting a coffee/tea maker in the room which includes decaf selections of both. Coke products in the snack lobby rather than Pepsi would be better, including maybe a sandwich machine. The room was very nice and super quiet for a good night's sleep. The staff was great and very polite!!! We came in for a concert so didn't have a chance to go to the casino, but would like to next time we come to Pittsburgh! Overall, everything was good, including free valet parking and the complimentary breakfast!! We'll definitely be back!! "
"Beautiful sunset views of Pittsburgh directly across form the Point State Park. Conveniently walk to Marketplace Square. Hotel staff were very welcoming. Rooms had some aging wall paper but were clean. Be prepared to pay for parking in garage or via valet service."
"There is a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel. Not a walking distance. Hotel is nice and rooms are reasonable. Room service works until midnight, which is nice. Only issue is there’s a lot of walking from the shuttle to the room, and they don’t have a bellboy to help you with the luggage"
Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh University Center
8/10 Good
"The hotel is situated in a very convenient downtown area. Room was clean and spacious. The only think I didn’t like was that you had to go down to the lobby to order your limited breakfast since it was not a buffet, but with the cost of a buffet. The pool was very small and constrict. Parking is paid and very expensive overnight. I paid because it was 1 night only but otherwise would have chose another hotel."
"The staff were all very friendly and helpful. It’s a good location in Lawrenceville. Depending on what side of the hotel you’re on, if you’re a light sleeper the loud traffic (read racing) on 40th might bother you. The bed in our room was really comfortable. The layout was a little weird w the sink in the main living space, shower off to the side and the toilet in a separate little room. Barn door for the toilet room didn’t close the whole way so be sure you’re comfortable w who you’re traveling with here !"
"This was a perfect place to take my family. My kids are 7, 14, and 16. Perfect location to walk everywhere. We took a Lyft a few times because of the heat. Free breakfast and free dinner. Easy parking system. Clean. Free popcorn in the lobby in the evenings. Nice rooftop patio. The only thing we did not like was the pool - it was just a typical hotel pool, echoing room, lots of chlorine, no windows, just meh. But still a 5 star stay."
