"I stayed one night as an escape and everything was perfect. The bed was very comfortable the staff were helpful and kind and I loved that the pool wasn't busy so I could work out. Its close to everything. Highly recommend."

"I found this to be an older hotel. Having stayed in a good selection of hotels downtown Toronto. In the suite there was supposed to be a small amount of cutlery, dishes and proper suite amenities but there was none. The pullout couch bed was right in front the very small what they called the kitchenette, and several toes were stubbed trying to get by as there was only 6 inches to walk through. Extremely poor placement of the pullout bed to the room. The room was otherwise clean and safe, very great location downtown and the staff extremely lovely. Parking was very reasonable price and very good. Unfortunately, I will not stay there again as the price did not match my expectations. I was expecting with the price, that this hotel would match or be a good comparison to One King West and their suites, but it absolutely did not. I will stay at One King West again moving forward."

"Nice hotel. Very nice staff and convenient location. The room is modern yet a bit dated in style. The bed is nothing special and the bathroom sink is too small. For a one two nights its an ok solution."

" The property grew on me but it is very dated, could use freshening, but would stay again. It is only about a 15 minute easy drive to Sunnybrook Hospital, which is why we were staying there. It is off the road and it quite private. There isn't any restaurants other than the property restaurant close by. Clean-ish (don't look too closely, would prefer no dust on bedside tables and lamps and mirrors without toothpaste splatter) but sheets where clean and towels were thick and white. Carpets very worn and were brown so you have no idea how clean they are. Bathtub had some mold in the corners and chips out of the tile floor and bathtub itself. The main things were clean but because of the mirrors not being clean and dust it just made me feel it wasn't really clean Didn't use the indoor pool but it looked very cool with lots of natural light. They also have a large outdoor pool. Staff on the reception desk was friendly, mostly. I ended up needing to return so checked in twice. Both check ins where quick and nice but my key cards didn't work the 2nd day. When I asked them to redo the cards the person on the desk didn't say anything. I was pretty annoyed at the time because it had been a long day at the hospital and my hand were full and now I have to go get my keys reprogrammed. All in all it would not be where I would stay for a holiday but for Sunnybrook it was OK and I would stay there again if attending Sunnybrook Hospital for surgery. "
