Pelican Grand Beach Resort - A Noble House Resort

"The staff was very pleasant. The resort does look like it needs some maintenance and upkeep in some areas i.e. paint pealing, water damage. The beach view was great but there was no communication prior to check in of the situation with the beach where it was not recommended to enter due to the large amount of seaweed (sarcasm). Asked due to not being able to enter the water to see if we could leave 1 day earlier and it was denied without paying for the full stay. The air conditioning vents need cleaning both in the restaurant and in the room. One elevator was out of service so there was a need to use the employee service one. Valet service was quick in bringing the car. Location wise it’s great and they do have a shuttle to some nearby locations but only later in the day (6p-10p)."

"The staff was great, everyone was super helpful and nice upon arrival and throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet selection was very limited especially for the price. The restaurant food was hit or miss. The coffee shop/Starbucks had a really good selection of pastries and small breakfast items though and they made my coffee very well. Pool area is also very pretty. Parking was complimentary which is a HUGE plus."

"Excellent location right on the beach. Property was very clean, well decorated, and grounds were well-kept. The beaches were covered with seaweed…which is all up and down the coast, so nothing to do with the hotel. Restaurant offered great food options. Pool seemed very popular. The only issue is the fact this is one of the original properties in this area. A few minor evidences of this…doors are older and walls are a bit thin so when others slam doors one can hear it…but this was not a regular occurrence. We would definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in that area!"
