"Tucked behind the facade of shops on the promenade is a lovely hotel. We were welcomed by Greg who spoke excellent English. The room rate was very reasonable and included breakfast. Our room was comfortable with a balcony overlooking the pool. The beds are very firm. Plenty of places to eat along the promenade although we chose to eat at the hotel. "I stayed in on of the studio apartment that belongs to the Avra hotel. I found everything I needed, cooking facilities, plates, cups, cutlery, kettle etc.... The apartment had a good sized furnished balcony. Excellent location, close to the beach, restaurants, shops. Hairdryer, air conditioning free of charge, also sunbeds on the hotel's private beach. Very friendly staff. I couldn't ask for more for the I price I paid for the apartment. "

"We were lucky to find the hotel, it being last-minute in August. I had been injured and needed a few days to recuperate; it was perfect for that. While I wasn't able to take advantage of the beach, it was so restful to sit on our balcony and take in the stunning view and crystal clear water. Our stay included meals (delicious BTW), so I didn't even have to try to go anywhere for three days."

"A fantastic family holiday. The staff and management were outstanding — always professional, kind, and attentive, which really made the experience special. Food was a highlight: the open buffet was impressive despite the crowds, and the à la carte restaurants added variety and quality. The sea is nice (though we’ve seen even better in the Aegean), but the service more than makes up for it. This is very much a family place rather than for couples seeking a romantic escape. For us, it was perfect, and we would happily return."
