"Really enjoyed our weekend here. Hotel is new and in a great location for us - a safe and easy 25 minutes walk from the city centre. Room was small but very well appointed, good shower and hair dryer, lovely towels, fridge, kettle and coffee machine. Air con worked efficiently and lighting was good. Really comfortable bed. Only slight issue was the full length window. Would have preferred a privacy screen on the bottom half as we were overlooking the car park and anyone looking up saw straight int our room. Only way to stop that was to have the blackout roller blind fully closed all the time. Breakfast was good with a reasonable assortment of food and a good coffee machine. The bar was nice and prices as you would expect for a city centre hotel. Would definitely stay there again."

"Culloden is a very pretty spot but service was a bit uneven. Front desk was terrific and could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast and dining fell short. Long waits and relatively poor quality was out of character with the rest of the property. We stayed two nights and would stay again as its rooms and natural beauty are terrific. The free breakfast was a case of getting what you pay for and the Cultra Inn was very disappointing. We did not try the Spa."
