The hotel was very quiet, relaxing, and clean. The restaurant served amazing German food for both breakfast and dinner. The staff was outstanding and accomodating, they were wonderful!! Overall, our experience was memorable!

An amazing place to stay just a few miles from the centre of Berchesgaden. The hotel has superb facilities, it is very clean, the food is excellent and the family of staff are wonderful. 5 stars throughout.

What a gem!

The accommodations were just lovely, but the best part of our stay was the staff. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The surrounding countryside was outstanding, and the village was charming. The restaurant served us an excellent dinner as well.

Old World Charm

Wonderful breakfast. We had our own table by the window for the length of our stay. Super attentive and friendly staff. The pool and sauna area were lovely. The pool has an exercise jet. Location is a bit of a drive out of town, but it made it relaxing and peaceful. No a/c in case it is hot. I did appreciate that their duvets were a lighter weight than the other places we had stayed since it was summer and warm.

We were delighted with our stay at Hotel Neuhausl. I would stay there again if I returned to Berchtesgaden. I used the swimming pool multiple times for my first swimming in years. We ate there every dinner for our 4 day stay because the food was excellent, as were the prices and service. We visited Salzburg Austria and Konigsee. both only 30 minutes or less away. There was always a staff member available that spoke good English and they were helpful.

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel

Das Hotel Neuhäusl in Berchtesgarden ist sehr zu empfehlen. Angefangen von der Begrüßung im Hotel am Anreisetag, die Sauberkeit der Zimmer, das hervorragende Frühstück sowie die herrliche Saunalandschaft und das Schwimmbad. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Rundum sehr zu empfehlen.

schnuckeliges Hotel an der Grenze zu Österreich

Ich und meine Partnerin hatten ein schönes Doppelzimmer im Neuhäusl während unseres Aufenthalts in Berchtesgaden. Das Hotel hat Tradition und ist dementsprechend auch rustikal (sehr passend zur Gegend) eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind einwandfrei sauber, das Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und das Personal äußerst zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant bietet regionale Küche auf gehobenem Niveau, die man uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann. Auch die Preisgestaltung ist der Qualität absolut angemessen und sehr fair. An der Rezeption sind vergünstige Eintrittskarten und Tipps für die zahlreichen lokalen Sehenswürdigkeiten erhältlich. Nachfragen lohnt sich, Service wird in diesem Familienbetrieb großgeschrieben. Auch die Lage ist günstig, Berchtesgaden ist in 15 Minuten zu erreichen und es gibt neben der wunderschönen Landschaft reichlich Sehenswürdigkeiten und Aktivitäten. Ich und meine Partnerin kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, dann eventuell auch um die Wellness-Angebote in Anspruch zu nehmen.

Good quality hotel but some distance from town

I booked this Berchtesgaden Hotel and arrived a good 10 minutes after driving through the town. The hotel is a long way from the town, not even a mobile phone signal. That's one bad part. The other is that some of the rooms, unfortunately like mine, room 101, do not enjoy the best views. However, those are the only bad points and I should have checked the location. There is the free (with guest card) bus 200m away into the town. The rooms and bathrooms are to a very high standard, good size TV (no English channels), Bathrobes and fridge. The pool and wellness areas are nice but the single sauna is quite small for this size hotel. The staff are polite but not always evident. The breakfast is continental plus eggs to order seating was allocated with your name being on a table card. There is a reasonably priced hotel restaurant. Plenty of free car parking. Wifi is free and fast enough to stream.
