"Location was perfect. Effortless to get to the train station. Room was excellent. Another elevator would help at busy times. Building looks great as well."
"The hotel is a bit date, however the hotel and rooms are being cared for. The rooms, bathrooms, towels, and bedding are clean. A plus the room came with a mini-fridge, not standard in Europe. The staff, Morena, was wonderful and provided some excellent history and tips for visiting. She advised us to buy a combo ticket to Keukenhof Garden with bus (QBuss) ticket. 13 minute walk from hotel towards central station a one none stop bus to Keukenhof Garden. The hotel is situated perfect location to explore Haarlem and other cities by train from the Central Haarlem Station, 13 minute walk. Morena also suggested the Corrie Ten Boom museum/memorial, get free tickets early (6/8 weeks prior to visit), we go lucky for non-peak time and really lucky. Breakfast is good and healthy. This hotel is centrally located to the Haarlem. I would stay again. Note, we weren't traveling with young kids, thus for singles and couples this place is safe, friendly and very good base to visit the Netherlands."
"We stayed here for our 4 night trip & it was the perfect location to explore the centre of Amsterdam. There is a transport hub less than 10 mins away where u can take train, metro, bus or tram.
The rooms were very clean & the apartment we chose had a bedroom with separatel lounge, a dining table & small full kitchen. The kitchen was sufficient for us for making breakfast & simple meals. The bathroom was huge with a walk in shower, though it wasnt that strong. There are a couple of restaurants & large supermarket within walking distance which was ok for us.
We were able to check out slightly later & they had luggage storage facilities.
I would recommend staying here & would stay again for our next visit."
"The stay at WestCord was great from start to finish! Special touches in terms of artwork and breakfast were a highlight and staff were very helpful.
The room was very comfortable for our family and although on the smaller side for 4 people, furniture was chosen for maximizing space and storage.
The location was very convenient for being outside the main tourist area but right on a direct busline to the main train station.
We especially loved the stroopwaffle introduction!!"
"We stayed here for 4 nights, we were welcomed with a very friendly manner.
Our Room wasn’t quite ready, due from us being slightly early for check in.
We were able to leave our suitcases so we could go out & explore Zaandam.
The hotel was in an excellent location, a few minutes walk up to the train station, there was an escalator & a lift to the top. The train station was good, great clear screens so you could see what platforms you needed, a 15 minute transfer on the sprinter train to the city central. We arrived by train from Schiphol airport which was so easy to do the transfer took around 18 minutes, a great way to travel around, very easy, reliable & very reasonable, we used it every day we were there.
We didn’t have any food at the hotel as we are not breakfast people, we ate out when we were out exploring so no food was required!
We did use the bar for a relaxing drink on return from our busy days out.
Staff were very pleasant, and a lovely relaxing atmosphere in comfortable chairs.
Our room was lovely, A very comfy queen size bed, great pillows. We slept so well. A fantastic bathroom with a walk in shower which was very powerful.
A safe & coffee machine, we used this for an instant coffees which I took with me.
I Would highly recommend this hotel."
