We loved the proximity to the city centre and transit (bus station and train station are each 5 minutes' walk away). We also loved the size of the apartment - it was perfect for our long stay and were were able to settle in. We didn't love the leftover food from previous tenants but this was easy enough to remedy. Overall, a fantastic property which was worth the extra price (over a hotel room) because we could cook and be comfortable on a couch to watch tv in the evening (it rained a lot).

Perfekte Lage

Es gibt in dem Haus 2 Apartments. Ich hatte das im Souterrain - was mich unangenehm überrascht hat. Erst nachträglich fällt mir auf den Bildern im Internet auf, das ich das hätte erkennen können. Hier liegt der Fehler also bei mir, nicht genau geschaut zu haben und die Bilder der zwei Apartments im Haus vermengt zu haben. Der Eingang zum Apartment erfolgt über eine steile und enge Treppe direkt von der Strasse. Von dem kleinen Vorraum kommt man ins Bad (ohne Fenster, das Waschbecken war kaputt und nicht nutzbar) und in einen Wohnessraum mit Kochnische. Es ist besenrein und der Fliesenboden ist der Kellerlage entsprechend kalt. Vor dem Sofa liegt ein kleiner Teppich. Der Gesamteindruck der Wohnung ist dunkel und ungemütlich. Die Einrichtung der Küche ist ausreichend. Der Eiskasten riecht ein wenig. Wifi ist gratis und nicht sehr schnell. Vor allem im Schlafzimmer bricht die Verbindung immer wieder ab. Das Bett ist groß, hat schon einige Gäste erlebt und quietscht bei der kleinsten Bewegung. Es ist fast gleich groß wie das Zimmer. Nachttisch ist daher nicht vorhanden, auch keine Lampe beim Bett. Nur die Deckenbeleuchtung. Damit sind wir bei den Schränken. Es gibt nur sehr wenig Stauraum. Ich habe aus dem Koffer gelebt und war froh, nach einer Nacht zu fahren.

Conveniently situated, but information misleading

The good points are the location, which is very central but not too noisy, free wifi and a comfortable double bed. But: although we were given a nice welcome, the apartment wasn't properly clean - both the windows were filthy, the view was of weeds, and little light filtered through into the rooms. there were no empty drawers - they all had various odds and ends in them, so it was difficult to find enough space for things. The bed, though comfortable, had no space on one side and only about 9 inches on the other so it was quite difficult to get in and out of, especially for older folks! It's a basement flat, which isn't made clear on the website, and dark and gloomy. The entrance (which you can see on the picture) is down some very steep and awkward steps, and you then type in a key-code to get in which is quite handy. In the sitting room there is a sofa which turns into a double bed - but if it were used, with 4 people staying there, you would have to climb over them to get from the main bedroom to the bathroom! A map and the standard guide was provided, but no visitor's book. The bathroom is fine though cramped, with a decent shower. Overall we had a great holiday - Bergen is a lovely place - and as we were out all day, and again out in the evenings to eat, and it was nice and near the centre, it didn't really spoil things. (The pictures on the website are accurate, but they are mixed up with those of a nicer flat, upstairs)

We booked this apartment because the description said it had a washer/dryer. I found out after we got into the apartment that there are 2 apartments and only the larger apartment has the washer/dryer. This should be more clear in the description.

Bom custo beneficio.

O melhor do local eh a localização, de lá eh possível ir a pé aos principais pontos da cidade inclusive s estação central e ao mercado de peixes. Tem lojas de conveniência também por perto inclusive mercado. O quarto fica no subsolo do prédio, eh pouco arejado mas as instalações são Boas.
