We used the hotel as a base for visiting Berlin The hotel was well maintained and a lovely modern feel The rooftop bar was lovely and Arthur really looked after us Wasn’t noisy and plenty of eateries around Would definitely use this hotel chain again High standard easy check in and checkout Very used as we leave our luggage on first and last day

A good spot to explore from

A great spot to explore Berlin from. Area was quiet but walkable to many places. Bar was understaffed when we visited. Also, kind of odd that the shower is visible from the main part of the room.

Well appointed & good location.

Well located to transportation but walking distance to many key sites, this property offers a breakfast room, lounge/lobby, courtyard garden and an evening bar. There are many good little restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious and quiet with a good coffee service. The bathroom had a handicapped accessible shower. Staff were helpful and quick to respond.

Was there for the Berlin Marathon. Staff was not helpful at all. Took forever to checkin. And they where rude when answering questions. I asked them if they new of a nice sit-down place to have breakfast in the area. They told me "You have Google", in a smart-ass tone.

Great room as I chose the more expensive type in the property. However, the windrow view is a small graveyard which is not ideal for some travellers including myself due to religious belief. Other than that the hotel is newly renovated/built and apparently has a nice rooftop bar which was unfortunately not open the night I visited due to cold weather. The hotel is self check in and self check out so if you want the traditional welcoming feel it's not for you. The staff is nearby so if you need help they can still be available. It's a young professional or cold modern vibe whatever you call it.

Our room which included kitchen facilities and a convertible sofa was very clean and comfortable. Good espresso machine. Large TV. Too bad my command of German is nil as that was it for programming. Any English news channel would have been great! One other criticism, bath was difficult to enter and exit and no rubber mat. Not safe.

Hotel great - management not

Nice hotel and position. If you’re looking for anything other than a room, this might not be for you. Emailed to book parking weeks before, no responses (then told it’s full on arrival). Emailed to discuss booking 10 rooms for an event, no response. Not sure if this is a Berlin thing or just this hotel. Staff went to ask the manager questions for me, management didn’t even come out of the office, just given a card with a general email address (that they don’t reply to).

Good value, great location

Nice Hotel in great location. Good value. The only downside was loud music from the hotel bar one night, even on the fifth floor it was a bit disturbing.

Sehr laut im Zimmer. Am Wochenende wurden im Hotel Partys mit DJ veranstaltet. Schlafen und Erholen waren daher nicht möglich.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Amano in Berlin war enttäuschend. Die Rezeptionistin war sehr unfreundlich und abweisend. Die Sauberkeit war mangelhaft, mit Haaren im Badezimmer und schmutzigen Gläsern, Geschirr und Mikrowelle. Der Duschkopfhalter und der Haartrockner waren defekt, ebenso wie die Beleuchtung, die flackerte und ausfiel. Das Sofa war verschmutzt und in der Kuche gab es keine Kaffeekapseln. Als ich danach fragte, wurde mir ein überhöhter Preis genannt von 3,50 pro kapsel. Die Internetverbindung war langsam und am Abend funktionierte sie überhaupt nicht. Zuletzt fand ich eine Spinne im Badezimmer. Aufgrund des schlechten Services, der mangelnden Sauberkeit und der defekten Einrichtungen kann ich das Hotel Amano nicht empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft war gud eingerichtet und echt stylisch, Personal war auch freundlich. Schlecht war die scheiss laute bum bum Musik vom Club/Bar unten, gab im Apartment nur wenig Steckdosen und die Wände waren auch nicht schalldicht.

Die Lage ist super, Einrichtung und Frühstück sehr ansprechend. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war dieses Mal nicht ganz so überzeugend wie sonst. Die Freundlichkeit und Kompetenz der Angestellten an der Reception ist sehr unterschiedlich, je nach dem wer gerade Dienst hat.

Ótimo hotel em Berlin

O Hotel esta em excelente localização. Staff muito atencioso e cafe da manha é farto. Ja estive outras vezes lá. Dessa vez achei a cama dura e os lençóis estavam sujos. Preferimos passar agua e sabão com uma toalha do que pedir a troca. Cortinas tb precisam ser lavadas
