Room had seen better days and it was not too clean. TBH you can get so much nicer room from Berlin for this price. Location was fine, since the hotel is so close to train station and metro.

Old but fine

We booked 2 rooms, the first one smelled of cigarets. So the window needed to be opened in a lot amount of time. The other one the chair was falling apart from eachother. Old, and could use a makeover. The bed was great and comfy.

Staff were very friendly and in a great part of Berlin as you were quite central with a lot of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The train station was the other side of the block less than 5 mins away and overall we had a great time!

Overall very nice property, very clean, nice balcony view and super helpful staff. I would recommend placing a small refrigerator and microwave in the room. March & April is always a pretty cool in temperature and for those months the temperature in the room was very pleasant. They also have a very nice, but small, elevator for those who may be challenged to use the stairs.

It did the job for sure. Location is really good. Was reasonably quiet. That being said , wi fi did not work in my case. And the room had some minor issues with cleanliness.

The hotel is old but in a good location. Lots of dinning options and close to Charlottenburg train station. But the elevator was down on the second day of our stay and it still hasn’t been fixed when we checked out. My parents had a hard time climbing up the stairs as they have bad knees.

It was 4 adults and 1 of the beds was to short for a male.the bathroom smell like sewer The lady in reception in the morning was very rude every time we ask for information she keeps turning her eyes. The beds were nice and clean.it was expensive and on to of that we pay additional money for parking .

It was fine. We bought breaksfast and it was very good. The only thing I didn't like was we were at 4th floor and they don't have elevator working for long tome... my dad count the stairs and there were 91 steps to get the room... with thw big luggage...

Good choice for Berlin

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this hotel was, for the price. Three easy-to-get-to electrical sockets in my small room; I've been in rooms that only have one. Linens changed every day. Commendably decent water pressure. Breakfast offered. Comfy bed. Really perfect spot for all the transit Berlin has to offer; nothing is more than a block away. Lots of restaurants and shops around. Only slight downside was internet; my room was at the back of the hotel and it was spotty (in the front of the hotel at the lobby it was great). A room more towards the front will likely not have this problem. Only one channel on the TV, in German, but that honestly wasn't an issue.

Extremely basic

Very small room - very basic. Wi-Fi extremely slow. TV-set only worked on 5 programs - didn´t bother me as I wasn´t there to watch TV. Room was on 4th floor but the elevator was out of order and seemed to have been for a long time - no real complaints from me though, as I needed the exersise. On the positive side, the hotel location was excellent with a lot of restaurants close by. Alse near to both U-bahn and S-bahn. Overall though, the hotel cannot be recommended and I will never return for sure.

Not recommended for a business trip

I stayed for 3 nights from 10-13 June paying $434 in total. I was there for business. Communication prior to arrival and check-in was smooth and easy - staff friendly. The room (#36) was large with high ceiling and four beds (I was one person). Room was clean but bathroom smelled like urine upon arrival (and throughout stay). There was no comfortable chair to sit and relax in nor any water kettle/cups to make a cup of tea. There was a tiny TV with 7 local German channels. The internet was quite unreliable - it came and went. In short not a place I can recommend to stay for a business trip and only good value for money if you stay as a family.
