Property is nice and from walkable distance inside the city. Rooms are clean but need renovation. Lobby is renovated hopefully they do the rooms. Lots of mosquitoes. We booked 4 beds, we got 3. Supposedly the room with the bunk bed had a broken key. Staff is friendly. Cleaners are friendly too.

I found the carpets in the hall ways was old dated and stained could do with being updated Hotel felt cold morning/evening Room nice and clean Pillow could do with being replaced Apart from that I would stay again good location for sightseeing

Really nice hotel there was renovations going on the outside of the hotel but this didn’t distract from the stay as it was the weekend and no workers were ther. It’s a bit of a walk to the tourist attractions but it is a nice walk through the park and up to Brandenburg gate. Recommend.

The staff were really helpful and smiley. While the hotel was rather hidden (hard to find when we first got there) and overall needs a refresher, the room we got was really big so it was comfortable for 3 - 4 person!

Nice, clean and good location

Great Stay. Easy to check in. Only fault I can have about this place is that my carpet had a lot of staples in the floor but this wasn't a big issue. Good location (10 mins walk from nearest station and plenty of nice cafe's around) and would happily stay here again.

Great location, smallish room, but comfortable for 1 person. Works on the building were a bit of a letdown.. the workers chatting loudly right outside my window at around 7am wasn't appreciated

The room was big and clean. The hotel is close to the metro station and the neighborhood is very nice with a lot of restaurants and bars. One of the children's bed was squeaking. The hotel exterior is being renovated but the rooms could use renovating also, as they seem a bit old and stale.

The first room given to us had a horrible view of workers painting the back of the hotel. We complained and they gave us a better room at the front of the hotel. The bathroom had quite new fittings but the shower door was not very good.

Old Berlin Stule building with charm and flair. Staff was always friendly and helped opening doors when I came through with the stroller. The room was spacious and had a clean bathroom with a big tub, which was perfect for my toddler. Only negative (situational) aspect was that a high school class was boarded around us which was loud until way past midnight, followed by contraction happening on scaffolding outside the window at 8am. Had to keep our curtains closed the whole stay to avoid workers literally standing in our faces.

Don't Stay here

Although it may look good from the pictures, it's not. The room was awful, the bed's were uncomfortable and the decor was from the 1940's. It was clean though. No kettle in the room and the view from the room was scaffolding, as the forgot to tell us about the building work that was going on, from 7am in the morning i may add. The bunkbeds nearly fell apart and there was no air con, please don't stay here, it's not worth it

When I got to the hotel I found out they didn’t have A/C, I am sure that it needs to be mentioned on a booking platform since it is definitely not what you expect from a hotel. I paid 740 euros for 5 nights which is obviously not cheap, but I got a room that was in a terrible condition and looked like renovation there didn’t happen since 1960s. A cherry on the top was that there was a construction just outside of my window. Every single day I would wake up at about 7am cuz of the construction noice and polish construction workers screams.

Very nice staff. We were put in an accessible room on the main floor so it was a little awkward to get to as it was behind the main desk. We were given the option to change rooms after a day if we didn’t like it but we didn’t want the hassle of changing rooms. There is quite bad construction going on at the moment. We would be woken up early, not by loud construction noises, but by the workers speaking very loudly. Our one double bed was comfy, very nice pillows, but the other bed was a bunk bed and it creaked whenever we moved. Good location for just walking around and for transport, but the construction really did hurt the experience.

I don't think I can offer a negative enough review of this location. The room we were promised was completely different from what we were shown. The place was filthy, noisy, smelled of smoke, and the air conditioning was non-existent. Windows were broken, paint was chipping off, floor was stained, and the bed looked awful. There was no other additional room to offer us. In exchange. We had to petition Expedia to prevent payment. We checked out immediately, and checked ourselves into another hotel which was vastly superior.
