Decent accommodation for a decent price

Nice friendly warm welcome at check in , check in was fast , buffet breakfast was delicious good choices of hot and cold food also vegetarian options . Bed was nice and comfortable had 2 decent nights sleep , room was clean and everything worked. No kettle tea or coffee making options in the room , tv had one English speaking channel but we weren’t there to watch telly , overall very happy

Great hotel for a reasonable price

I stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The room was a good size for a solo traveller but would also be OK for two people, although thereis not a lot of wardrobe room to hang clothing for two people. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower was fairly spacious. The location is a short walk from Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie. There are a couple of cafes around the corner as well as a Lidl. Tip: the Jasmine Thai massage at the end of the street is very good.

The hotel definitely needs to make renovations. The hallways did have the old, mildew smell. The rooms were rather large but also outdated. Close walking distance of about 15 minutes to major attractions.

Bath was same on cruise ships 30 years ago: cheap plastic. AC was not working properly. If I wanted breakfast I had to pay in advance (no trust in hotel guests. Only 2 bath towels offered for 2 guests. No face or hand towels. Reception provided 2 more body towels on request. Never again at this chain.

First of all, I want to say the staff was excellent and very helpful. They are the best! However, the room was a bit outdated, small, the bathroom was like those pre-built units inserted in the room. The AC was not that efficient at cooling the room. All that considering the price... maybe we had been spoiled by the better quality of places we stayed in prior cities in our itinerary, and were not as expensive. Owners should put an effort into updating the place or lower the rates they charge. It was OK, but there's definitely room for improvements.

I was late arriving at hotel on 09/08/22, due to my flight being cancelled. Staff did not explain they had cancelled my booking because of this. When I questioned their authority to cancel my 6 night booking, they were dismissive of my concerns. Staff member informed me she could not talk to me because she was busy on computer. Would not use Ibis again.

Bad Experience - AC didn’t work.

I specifically picked this hotel because they advertise air conditioning. I have a medical condition that requires that I have this. What they don’t tell you is, cooling only works if it is above 22c outside. So, no air conditioning, could even get the air conditioning fan to run. So, I tried to open the window, it will only tilt, which provided very little cool air from outside. I had to leave and go to another hotel. The room was also very worn and I had to kill two bugs. On top of all that, no refund!!! I tried, hotels.com tried, to no avail.

Ich war hier vor etwa einem Jahr schon mal und fand es gut, deshalb hab ich wieder gebucht. Leider war meine Erfahrung diesmal nicht so positiv. Das Bett war sehr hart und unbequem (Kissen und Topper). Das WC war schwarz vor Abnutzung. Ich konnte mich nicht ins WLAN einwählen. Der Check-in hat unglaublich lange gedauert, obwohl nichts los war. Die ÖPNV Anbindung ist gut auch das Tempodrom ist in unmittelbar Nähe.

Check in Personal sehr nett und kompetent, Zimmer mit vielen Ablagemöglichkeiten, einfach aber praktisch. Bad in Ordnung, Duschkopf unpraktisch, ein bisschen Zugtoilletten-Gefühl durch das viele Plastik. Check Out bis 12 möglich, auch super. Bus fährt sehr nah (2 min), Bahn 10 min zu Fuß. Check Point Charly 15 mins zu Fuß.
