Excellent Stay

Lovely hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location with excellent transport links and lots of places to eat and drink nearby. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent stay at the Leonardo Hotel Berlin Mitte! The hotel is conveniently located near shops, restaurants and attractions. If you're a scooter rider, there are scooters conveniently parked nearby. The room was clean with all the necessities. Would highly recommend a stay at the Leonardo.

Good hotel when everything is working

Great location in the center of the city, next to the river and several beautiful neighborhoods. Front desk was very helpful and polite. But, room was not clean (dirt on the floor, dirt on the bed), 2 of the 3 elevators did not work, and the fitness center was out of order.

The AC wasn’t working and so the room was extremely hot. I opened a window but moving the curtains brought so much dust into the room and on my open luggage. And it didn’t make a difference in terms of heat. The housekeeping staff kept knocking my door before check-out. I still had 10 minutes left so there was no need to be this persistent. Better to give space and let guests wrap up before they have to leave.

Lovely hotel, modern, clean. The room and bathroom were quite spacious for Europe standards. There are many great restaurant options on the same street and around the corner. The Irish pub at the corner across from the hotel is so much fun. Location is excellent and has great views. Highly recommend it.

The hotel is v large, so I would avoid the buffet breakfast - plenty of options nearby. My drains smelled bad, and the mattress was way too soft. But the room was light and modern, and in a convenient location.

A decent mid-range hotel in a great location

A good hotel in terms of it being very central - a perfect location in Mitte, on the Spree on Friedrichstrasse near the train station, boat launches and zillions of restaurants. Free mineral water is a nice touch. The rooms are tiny. Very cramped for two travelers with full-size suitcases. If you have mobility issues, might be a challenge. Which isn’t unusual in Europe. The breakfast is very expensive, so budget-conscious travelers should look elsewhere. Overall, we got our money’s worth.

Standard amenities, good location

Nice, clean, hotel. Good sized rooms and low levels of noise. Good location right by Friedrichstraße and the river Spree. Some near by reasonably priced restaurants. Another review mentions the lifts: they're still an issue. There was only two in operation on my visit. You'll often face queues to get out. Take the stairs for regular outings and leave a few minutes early if you've got luggage

Room was clean. However needed new mattresses. Was a sinkhole on outer edge of each bed. Hard to roll over as you had to roll uphill to get out of hole. Made for uncomfortable nights sleep. Also, housekeeping let themselves in room 3 times starting at 8am both mornings of stay. Each time I had to tell them to leave. Twice they had to get a co-worker as they did not speak English.
