"Missing some of the positive experiences from most hotels. Cleaning was adequate. Had to request linens to accommodate all guests. A piece of tissue paper was on the floor outside of our room during the entire. Even though housekeeping was up and dow the hallway."
"My family and I stayed in the traditional 2 queen bed room.
The staff (front desk, housing keeping and those in golf carts) is quite helpful and very professional.
Space near room entrance looked messy. It could’ve been covered well or kept neatly.
Bathroom & shower fittings were loose and shaky.
It was quite a challenge to lock sliding door in bathroom.
Room is not bright and shiny as compared with rooms in other hotels.
They’ve a wonderful pool. Lazy river is excellent.
Omni is a wonderful resort with many cool features except for the hotel room.
Overall it is not a great value for the money per my experience. I hope the hotel management and staff fix the above issues.
My family and I are looking forward to stay at Omni during our next visit to Palm Springs! "
"Great stay at the Westin! The staff were great! The property grounds were nice. Plenty to do. Pool and bar were fantastic. Room was spacious, comfortable and clean."
"This resort is unacceptable for a Hyatt property.
On the positive side, the design of the pool itself was great for the area, and one of the few properties with a lazy river. The water temperature was refreshing. Beyond that, not much to like.
For context, we stayed here on weekdays. The service here was terrible and unacceptable for this type of resort. The restaurants were significantly understaffed, with extremely slow service for both bar and restaurants. Housekeeping and bell desk repeatedly refused our requests for cleaning (we say other customers complaining about the same).
The quality of the food here is bad, whether kids food or adult food. The marketplace is overpriced, and the quality is closer to what you find for takeaway food in a gas station. The quality of the ingredients of the food from the restaurants were high, the execution was poor and uneven.
The pool area has no seating if you go late morning. We had to grab towels and spread out on the turf near one of the pools. Even the tables for food service were full of people just trying to find space. Only about 35% of the chairs with towels or personal items seemed occupied at any given time. The resort staff and rules did not have them enforce any turnover of space not being used. This was on a Monday and Tuesday, so not peak days.
The rooms were adequately clean. A couple of family members seemed to get bitten by unknown, non mosquito bugs in the room. "
"We are regulars at this hotel, have stayed many many times. I'm so sad that we will never stay again. They recently added 2 new fees one for early check in which is so ridiculous and a pet for of 75 per pet. This is outrageous and if you have 2 pets more than the cost of the hotel. They will lose a lot of business due to this fee. It is not reasonable and a money grab...so sorry to say bye to this great spot!"
"Staff was pleasant and helpful. Parking easy. Room was clean but rooms need updating. The gym is actually nice but smells terrible. I hate carpet nowadays just me. Dispenser for soap etc was either broke or not full but didn’t matter since we always carry our own and are particular. We could deal w the negatives because of the positives which are you have 2 really good places to eat onsite right next to the pool the Reef and Sanchos. Reef has fantastic food burgers sandwiches and drinks. Reef has best mocktail menu for kids and will make virgin daiquiris and pina coladas. All drinks were good. Sanchos has really good Mexican food and carne asada is tender and flavorful and omg their mango margarita and michelada were bomb. Very fresh food. The Patio Mexican restaurant downtown didn’t compare to Sanchos food or service and staff in my opinion. Hotel pool was so warm. They actually heat their pool they don’t just advertise that they do. The pool doesn’t close until late so we swam daytime and after doing things like the Tram we were able to swim at night. Kids had such a good time w the mocktails pool and hot tub. A lot of families and family oriented people there and lots of shade! And cool water misters all around the pool which was fantastic. "
