"This was a very comfortable and convenient hotel. The vending machines with full meals and the close proximity to Aldi were bonuses. The bus station is right across the street. The only down side was the fact that it had no AC and when we visited it was a serious heat wave."

Just a really pleasant place to spend a little time. I only say a little time because to us Brits , Switzerland is an expensive place - unless you are careful!

Take time to walk around the old city of Bern - it is located just over the bridge from the hotel. It’s small and hemmed in on both sides by the Aare river which makes exploring on foot easy. The medieval buildings and arcades are charming.

Lots to see. Friendly people on the whole. Lots of eating options and plenty of entertainment. The river is beautiful.
