A Gem of a Place

Beautiful location overlooking the Mosel River. Park the car in the public lot and walk about 300 meters to the hotel. Room key is in the lockbox and easy to access once you have the code. We had breakfast at the restaurant located down the street from the hotel and it was fantastic. We enjoyed the Weihnachten Festival just down the street from the hotel (100 meters).

Not again

Room #4, very small and very basic. Popular walking path right behind the window with direct view to the room so had to keep window and curtains closed all the time which made the room feel like a closet. Breakfast 300m away, parking 500m. Not convenient. Otherwise nice location close to Bernkastel Altstadt but I won't be coming again even if some other rooms may be much better.

Well localized hotel in Mosel, helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast. There is no lifting in case of many luggages.

Keine Klimaanlage, wie eigentlich angegeben. Es gibt nur ein kleines und sehr lautes Standgebläse. Das Bett in Zimmer 1 hat nach Erbrochenem gerochen. Standort sehr zentral und das Frühstück ist auch gut. Insgesamt kann man es für 1-2 Nächte max. buchen. Der Preis ist aber aus meiner Sicht nicht gerechtfertigt.

....wir hatten ein tolles, großes Komfort-Doppelzimmer (Nr. 11) im Dachgeschoss. Super Ausblick auf die Mosel und auf die Weinberge. Außerdem war eine leistungsfähige Klimaanlage vorhanden. Tolle Lage. Zu Fuß zum Marktplatz dauert nur ca. 2 Minuten. Sehr gutes Frühstück im 3 Minuten entfernten Bistro. Personal und Organisation topp.

Incheckning via en högtalare som var sönder vilket gjorde att man knappt hörde instruktionerna. Om man ska ha obemannade receptioner så måste tekniken fungera!!!

Die Heizung hat nicht funktioniert und muss überholt werden . Es war Sau kalt im Zimmer. Die hinmernsknd unglaublich hellhörig und man hat alles um sich herum gehört. Einen Ausblick gab es nicht ,denn mein Fenster war direkt am Wanderweg zu den Weinbergen …..also immer was los an meinem Fenster und es war sehr dunkel

Rummen vi skulle ha låg på en gata bakom det som bilderna visar på nätet. När vi öppnade dörren till den byggnaden slogs vi av en doft av mögel. Kände direkt att här bor vi inte.. vi gick ner till receptionen som inte förstod att det luktade mögel... man hade inga fler rum att hjälpa oss med och pengar ville man inte betala tillbaka eftersom det var för kort inpå. Vi lyckades på egen hand lösa två andra rum för vår vistelse och har dialogen med Hotels på återbetalning vilket jag innerligt hoppas kommer att lösa sig. vår rekommendation är att INTE boka Moselhaus Weiskopf om man får ett rum i anexet.

Ungünstige Lage

Das Frühstück war sehr fein! Das Zimmer war nicht so toll: Nachdem es sehr heiß war an diesem Tag und im Zimmer keine Klimaanlage war, hätten wir eigentlich lüften müssen, jedoch lag das Zimmer direkt an einer Seitenstraße. Jeder hätte ins Zimmer hineinlangen können! Es war unerträglich in diesem Zimmer zu schlafen müssen. Im ersten Stock wäre es kein Thema gewesen, das Fenster geöffnet zu lassen. Der Lärm vom gegenüberliegenden Restaurant war gegen 23 Uhr dann auch vorbei.

Litt vanskeig å finne fram og ikke mye tilgjengelig med bil eller parkering der. Vi fikk rom i 4 etasje uten heis, og det er ikke helt enkelt for eldre mennesker med tunge kofferter. Enkelt rom med dobbelt seng og lavt under taket, men greit for en natt. Ingen resepsjon, men en må ringe resepsjon på et annet hotell for å få kode til nøkkelboksen.

Uruselt värmesystem

Vid ankomst var det bara 14-15 gr i rummet. Vi påtalade detta och någon skulle komma samma dag och se över värmeelementet. När vi kom tillbaka efter restaurangbesök på kvällen var det lika kallt. Vi fick sova med långbyxor tröja och raggsockor. Dagen efter började elementet ge värme. Vi var utomhus under dagen och kom tillbaka på kvällen. Nu var det jättevarmt på rummet, 26-27 grader. Vaknade under natten av värmen som nu var uppe i 29-30 grader. Vi öppnade alla fönster. Vilket medförde en massa buller av trafik osv. Sov mycket dåligt den natten och vaknade med huvudvärk. Vi bad om återbetalning av en av de två nätterna vi bodde där. Men nej, det fick vi inte. Det slutade med att vi slapp betala parkeringsavgiften 12EU, skatt 6EU och fick två flaskor vin.

Väldigt svårt och hitta hotellet , incheckningen låg sen 300 m bort på ett café .. tur vi hittade ngn som kunde engelska som hjälpte oss , nyckeln låg i ett nyckelskåp med kod . Frukosten va god ! Parkering långt bort vid kanalen .
