"My room smelled bad. Garbage was stacked in the hall near the elevator for two days. Breakfast didn’t open til 6:30 which is too late. The place had a bad vibe. Like a dormitory. "

"The room as clean, there was dust under the bed, but who really moves those? They had long term tenants there, but they were very nice. The place was very quiet at night. I stayed with the whole family for four days, and I’d stay here again. If you need the bare bones basic hotel, with no frills or fluff, this is a good one. Very close to all the things we were doing on that side of town. Easy to get in and out. WiFi was good, kind of slow some times, but that wasn’t a big deal. Has laundry, vending machines, and coffee in the office in the mornings. Staff is friendly. Room wasn’t turned down until we left, which would have been nice on day 2, but that wasn’t a huge deal breaker"

"This place is very convenient to NASA. At check in, the staff was super nice. Although the building is a bit old with creaking sound when walking in the hall way and some of the furnatures were not in good shape, the room looked generally clean and comfortable. It is indeed a hot breakfast with scrabbled eggs, sausages, muffins and much more. We were otherwise very happy with the place and our choice of the hotel. The only problem was the bed bugs. During the night, my wife caught a big one. We thoroughly checked the bed sheets and went back to sleep. During the day at NASA visitor center, we realized that both of us were seriously bitten on ears, necks, hands, arms, feet, and legs. It was terribly itchy. We stayed on 3/16. Today is 3/19, the bitten areas are still swollen. We were rushing out and did not get a chance to tell the front desk. Our room was 215. The bed sheet has clear bedbug blood stains. I did take photo shots of the sheet and bedbug, not sure if I have chance to up load them for this review. So let mention first. "

"Toilet in room was to low, hard time getting up, had to use the lobby bathroom. Biscuits and gravy and sausage were cold. "

"Very clean and well-lit property with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Vincent and Armand at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds. Nice patio. Super close to UTMB campus. Has fitness center and laundry. Have stayed here twice now. Will stay here again when in Webster."
