However, the thing we appreciated most about the listing in the end was its location. "My friend and I had a fabulous stay at the Black Boy. We received a very warm welcome, the staff were helpful, kind and courteous. Our room and all the public areas are well maintained and spotlessly clean. The shower was great, bed comfy and we were able to adjust the radiator to suit the temperature we like. Breakfast was great, hot dishes cooked to order. We absolutely loved that all the fires were lit and it felt really cosy on a cold winters day. We stayed in the original building, it was really quirky and very authentic. We would definitely recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again."
