"Breakfast was just ok, rooms are a converted parking parade , view was unobstructed but poor , way overpriced for quality compared to other hotels I recently stayed in. "

"There is a very unpleasant smell in the apartment- that made us limit out time in the apartment and it was quite unpleasant - except to sleep. It was making me feel a bit sick to my stomach- maybe sewer? Also- the heat in one bedroom was not working so it was quite cold in the main part of the apartment because we had to wheel the portable heater into that room to stay warm. Kitchen was limited on what was available- but we ended up eating out, anyway. Not the best stay."

"The location of the hotel was excellent, based within the small town with close proximity to all the local attractions. Staff were attentive and spoke perfect English. The bedroom was spacious, clean well provided and enjoyed excellent views towards the sea"

"We stayed here for 2 nights and it was alright for what we needed it for. Nothing special. We didn’t realize just how in the middle of nowhere it would be. It’s quite remote and the country roads to get there are a bit tricky to navigate at night. We were exploring comporta for the two days that we were there but it’s about a 40 min drive so if you’re thinking of exploring comporta just keep that in mind. Also, there are no doors in the bathroom which we did not enjoy. Lastly, the room itself had some things that needed fixing. For example, the bottom of the door was completely falling off and the floor which is made up of some type of cork looked like it needed a refresh - it was stained on multiple areas. The breakfast included was also just ok - the eggs were cold and so was the bacon. We got to breakfast at 10 AM so I guess if you’re an early riser it might’ve been warm but they could also invest in better equipment to keep the food warm for the rest of us that are jet lagged and not up at the crack of dawn. Overall, it was just an ok experience. "
