Fabulous hosts, couldn't do enough for us and our family of little dogs, very welcoming and homely. Excellent breakfast and great value for money. Breakfast room is delightful, along with the choice of food. Clean and tidy rooms, very spacious and comfortable 'huge' beds and fluffy warm duvets. The walled terrace area is excellent for outside dog security with lovely views and peaceful surroundings. Packed lunches were made available for us at short notice and were excellent value for money and totally delicious. The home made cakes and fresh cut fruit were an additional delight. This is a hidden gem and well worth a visit for a peaceful stay in a beautiful part of Devon. All the personal touches make you feel valued and special as a guest, Just perfect.

This was by far the best stay during our 7 day hike along the south west coast path from Minehead to Westward Ho!. I would give it a 5.5 out of 5, if I only could. Caroline was a wonderful host. Everything was well thought through and we felt very welcome.

Brilliant place to stay, we only stayed one night but it was well worth it. The room was a great size with a good tea/coffee tray, decent size bathroom and bed. Breakfast was fantastic. Really well worth staying.

We have been to the venue before and loved it and not hesitate to go back again we love the walks you can do in the area and local bus service is just down the road

The picture looks like a cottage, it is in fact a farm house. Large, well appointed bedrooms, big comfortable bed, tea/coffee facilities with a flask of fresh milk and home made cake. Charming hosts. Fantastic breakfast. Perfect.

Outstanding B&B
We stayed here whilst walking the South West Coast Path. The welcome given was very warm - especially the homemade cake in the bedroom. Breakfast was fantastic, so nice to have homemade pancakes.

A lovely break away
We had a lovely, comfortable stay. The owners went out of their way to accommodate us. Beautiful bedroom with extremely comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing, the best I have ever had when staying in a b&b/ hotel.Lovely quiet location and would definitely recommend to friends and family. Hopefully we will stay their again sometime

We were welcomed by the hosts and given a tour of the b&b. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was delicious. We especially liked the terrace where we could relax with our afternoon tea and home made cake. A lovely position about 10 minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommended.

Best B&B I have stayed at
Everything was awesome, couldnt have asked for more. I feel 110 pounds for the room was very reasonable esp considering its the summer season. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean and large, breakfast was very nice and the view from the room was great. I think we will come back.

Great little B&B
Great litlle B&B really friendly and just a nice short walking distance from Instow beach. Breakfast was great and little touches like afternoon cakes just added to the experience.

Very comfortable room with great rural view. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. We had a takeaway from the restaurant(Not open for diners at the moment) and that was really tasty better food than we had eaten in restaurants during Bank holiday.weekend. Friendly owners, a relaxing atmosphere. Just wished we could have stayed longer!

The Barton is beautiful, surrounded by countryside and close by views of the sea. The room was lovely, fabulous local organic bath products. Breakfast was scrumptious, home made bread, preserves, cakes. Fabulous and highly recommended.

Arrived late after a long drive from Manchester to a lovely welcome we were late for the Cream Tea but was offered it my Sister couldn't resist ( Home baked it was delicious) Lovely room with plenty of space & a very inviting Large Bed Tea & Coffee was available in the room with a small Flask of cold milk ( Great idear) We had a great nights sleep & in the morning went down to a Fantastic Breakfast. So if you want all the home comforts for your stay you must give this a try, i would definitely recommend staying at this Little Gem Thanks to all for making it a lovely stay Julie & Alan 👏👏

Wonderful 2 Nights break the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Hand made soap. Home made bread with breakfast. Delicious homemade scones and jam for afternoon tea. 10 minutes walk to Instow.

Brilliant short stay
We had a warm welcome with home made Devon cream tea. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean with lovely views over the yard and countryside. Ten minutes walk to centre of Instow. Pity we could not try the restaurant, only open three days per week.

You could not wish for nicer or friendlier hosts than Caroline and Colin. The effort they have gone to in converting an old Farm into the B+B that you see today is amazing and the food is first class, if you like your reviews to be marked from 1 to 10 then Instow Barton is a 12, can,t recommend it highly enough. We will be going back
