Es war nicht sonderlich sauber und das Bett war sehr weich. Mit dem Lärm der Straßenbahn war zu rechnen, deshalb war dies nicht störend.

Wir hatten zunächst die Befürchtung es könne laut sein, weil das Hotel an einer S-Bahn-Linie und in der Nähe einer größeren Straße liegt. Das war aber nicht der Fall, im Zimmer war nichts zu hören. Alles war sehr sauber, das Personal überaus freundlich. Das Hotel ist auch für Radreisende zu empfehlen: i) Liegt nahe an einem schönen Radweg der nach Bielefeld hinein führt, ii) Räder wurden sicher im Hotel untergebracht, iii) mit der S-Bahn ist man in wenigen Minuten in der Innenstadt.

Die Betten waren sehr unbequem. Die Matratzen waren sehr alt und benutzt. Man hat praktisch fast am Lattenrost gelegen. Es gab keinen Kühlschrank und auch keinen Fön.

The hotel is in excellent condition, and very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is much better than average. Our only complaint is the lack of an elevator, but the staff helped us with our suitcases.

Eigentlich wäre aus dem Hotel etwas zu machen, aber es scheint dafür an Interesse zu mangeln. Check In mit einem vorher per SMS zugesandten Code ist eigentlich kein Problem. Hätten wir nicht zufällig vorher den Betreiber des Hotels getroffen, hätten wir den Zimmerschlüssel nie gefunden. Dieser hing an einer "Info-Tafel" an der Wand in dem total dunklen Hausflur. Dass Handtücher im Zimmer fehlten haben wir leider erst bemerkt, als sich einer von uns beiden nach dem Duschen abtrocknen wollte - kann ja mal passieren. Aber ein Gutes hatte der Vorfall - so bekamen wir dann auch, als uns die Handtücher gebracht wurden, die Infos wo und wann wir frühstücken können am nächsten Tag. Der Selbstbedienungsservice setzte sich beim Frühstück fort. Das Frühstück an sich war ok. Die zuständige Servicekraft sahen wir beim Eintreten in den Frühstücksraum ganz kurz - wischmoppschwingend - und dann war sie verschwunden. Wir trinken zum Frühstück gerne Milchcafé - also Servicekraft suchen war angesagt - das hat nach 10 Min auch geklappt, und wir konnten unseren Wunsch nach heißer Milch äußern....und dann kam - ein großes Glas!! Milch, die wahrscheinlich 10 Sek. durch die Mikrowelle geflitzt war - also eher kalt als lauwarm.Naja - jetzt hatten wir auch verstanden, warum auf den Toschen keine Tischdecken waren.... denn aus einem großen Glas Milch in eine kleine Tasse zu gießen - geht nicht ohne großflächig zu kleckern!!Es passt einfach alles - ein rundes Paket für -Keinservice- für 85€-schade!
