Hotels near Big Bend Ranch State Park

"Tried to check in at 4pm, Issues with check in due to weather issues the day prior, but this was told this, just room was not ready. Waited till 5:20 for room/keys, went to room and it was still being cleaned. Waited another 20 minutes. Dot 2 drink tickets for the wait. Had the worst 2 beds I have ever seen/tried to sleep on in over 30 years of traveling the US. Dips in mattresses were horrendous. Not able to change rooms as "no other rooms available", supposedly, we saw a couple of other unoccupied room in same building. Maybe the per booked golfers get the good rooms. "

"The room was clean and we got a clean towel. There was no ice, no plastic cups, glasses of any kind. No shower curtain by design but you walk in the shower at the front so the water goes all over the floor which I cleaned. I could go on. They should at least have some basic things before opening for business and the room was not a bargain! It was expensive. "
