"Honestly, the nicest young lady at the front desk and the bartender! Very helpful and kind, the both of them. We were exhausted, so just ordered food from the little bar. It was delicious and just what we needed. No fuss! We were easily switched into a handicap accessible room as front desk gal noticed I was in a lot of discomfort. ( I had a knee replacement surgery 5 weeks prior). That was really nice as it was first floor and close to the door. They do serve breakfast, but we didn't...

"Hotel and property was absolutely breathtaking! The staff was super friendly upon arrival and check-in was easy. My only complaints (and they are very minor) is that the room wouldn't get as cold as we like, and the pillows were too soft. Other than that, it was fantastic!"

"Absolutely delightful. Check in clerk was fantastic. Best decorated hotel anywhere. So clean. Bed was super comfy. The little details were so nice. And the ease of access to hot tub was a great feature. The included breakfast is NOT your typical continental breakfast, on a Sunday at least. I would call it the buffet of 100 selections. Great coffee. Des Lux will be our go to hotel in Des Moines. "

"This was fourth or fifth stay at Renovo and I always love it! The staff are friendly and super helpful. I especially appreciated when the staff member who checked me in made sure to keep safe a box of LaCroix I'd accidentally left at the front desk. The only downside to this visit was that the bubbles on the jacuzzi weren't working. :)"
