"We overall had a pleasant stay, with both highlights and disappointments.
The resort is beautiful, with stunning views and great facilities. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and we appreciated the slightly earlier check-in. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and special thanks to Chris from the bell team as well as Pedro at Mahina restaurant for their excellent service.
Mahina was a highlight — excellent food, beautiful views, and tables right by the water. The sushi restaurant was decent, though not memorable.
Service consistency across the resort could be improved. Many housekeeping, maintenance, and Marketplace staff seemed disengaged and not particularly welcoming. Greetings often felt lacking, and Marketplace service was slow, with staff chatting instead of assisting guests.
Housekeeping also needs more attention. While the room appeared clean, I found debris left by previous guests in the bathroom when bending to retrieve something I had dropped.
The beach was disappointing during our stay, with seaweed and murky water making it unappealing for swimming, so we visited Bahia Honda instead.
One frustration was the smoking policy, which was not disclosed beforehand. Despite our beautiful oceanfront balcony, smoking was prohibited and limited to a poorly maintained area behind the spa near loud machinery.
Overall: beautiful resort, spacious rooms, great dining and views but housekeeping and certain staff (Latinos) attitude needs improvement."

"Room 126 air conditioner thermostat turns off and the refrigerator doesn’t cool.
Check in person could be more helpful or friendly explain what the hotel has to offer."
"Unfortunately, the whole time we were here we were ready to not be in the room because of the state of it. It had very clearly not been swept or mopped out in the bedroom and bathroom area (there was hair and food pieces all over the floor) and they forgot to leave us towels and soap. I think there wasn’t soap or towels because the room hadn’t been actually cleaned yet. The air conditioning was fantastic and parking right outside the room is nice. These are the only positive things I can say though."
"Room was nice and clean. Bathroom didn’t have any hooks for hanging pajamas, no counter in bathroom to lay clothes or bath stuff on. Small bathroom. Internet connection was bad. Devices disconnected often from phone laptop and tv. Towards the end of stay at night before going to bed bugs started appearing along baseboards in furniture in bed under pillows between sheets. Found out they were termites. I wouldn’t stay there again."
