"Check in process was slow because there was one person at the desk when we arrived at 9:00 pm. There was some sort of problem going on so we had to wait to be checked in. Lobby area did not appear particularly clean and smelled of marijuana. We almost didn’t stay because of the lobby and check in. Upon getting to the room, it was very clean. Bed was comfortable as were pillows. Check out process was just as chaotic as check in. There were several people in line to check out and one clerk. He was very slow. I finally just handed him the key in the folder with my room number and told him I had to go to get to the airport. This was at 6:00 am."

"My wife and I loved our stay at Steamboat Inn. The lobby, dining area and rooms were all beautiful. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom was well stocked with everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The night we spent there, we were the only guests, so we invited the overseer and owner (who prepared breakfast) to eat breakfast with us. We sat and had a great visit with them. This was a real highlight of our entire trip."
