"Room was available by 3 PM as scheduled. Room was ok as far as cleanliness except for the floors. Did not use the pool. The tv was hard to change channels with the remote unless you were close to the receptor. Easy walk to a restaurant and fast food options."

"Loved the hotel overall. Love the larger rooms, it was very clean. We did not have a chance to check out the breakfast since we were gone before it opened. LOVE that they are not pet-friendly! You could tell, the rooms smelled nice! There is a stench in most places that allow pets. It is close to Wholefoods and Total Wine:) The hotel might want to give the young man who checked us in a little lesson in customer service. I hate to leave bad feedback, but he was so condescending and ornery, it was surprising that anyone would hire him for this job. He must be the manager's son or something. A few more gripes: One of the side doors would not open with the key card for all the days we were there (one more reason we had to interact with this guy at the front desk; it was not pleasant, and he obviously did not let anyone in maintenance know about the issue either.) The light bulb in the closet was burned out. Not the end of the world, but the cleaning staff should have noticed that too. Once we have our personal stuff in the room, we hate having workers in there, so we did not say anything until we checked out. Rooms facing 111 get a lot of traffic noise, even with the fan on high, you hear it. But overall, it was a great stay and we would book a room there again."

"The lobby and dining room are modern and bright, but the halls are dark and dingy with old stained, wrinkled carpeting that invites trip and fall accidents. The kitchen offers good hot breakfasts, take out dinners and bar service. Kitchen staff is cordial, front desk is not. Rooms are big and comfortable, wifi is free and shops and restaurants are nearby, many walkable."

"Property is on average 3 stars. The hotel is under painting renovation when we were there which they removed all the decorations photo’s of Lucille Ball & Desi Arnaz which was the main attraction and our reason of picking to stay on this hotel. The bed and pillow are NOT comfortable to sleep on. The bed gave me the back pain due to mattress is sagging when you lie down, and pillow is too soft which is insufficient support for my neck. "

"This historic resort is a gem and one of the most beautiful properties to stay! The grounds keepers obviously know what they are doing! Unfortunately the rest of the staff (front desk registration, manager, many of restaurant staff, some pool staff, some housekeeping, etc) are borderline incompetent and not hard workers! Each year it seems to get worse. The resort manager needs to go! We want this property to shine and be around for years to come!"

"This was a getaway for the holidays with my husband and in-laws. The hotel was well kept and good staff. Room was spacious and clean. Great bed! All in walking distance to shops, restaurants, local coffee and galleries. I would go back to the fun spot in the desert. "
