"Outside in the back of the property, a group of cars were having a tail gate party and were smoking weed. When we came into the lobby to check in, the entire lobby smelled liked heavy weed. Thankfully our room was nice and clean. "

"Bustling busy hotel parking, entrance and check-in - but once at the desk, all was friendly, smooth and easy!!! Great choice of restaurants on main floor and EXCELLENT bar/restaurant. Every one of the bartenders was friendly to all, and kept everyone in mind, food and spirits! Seemed like they all enjoyed working together (a good family vibe) and they made us feel like family too. "The Siren is well-located, close to downtown Detroit shopping, entertainment and sporting venues. The Candy Bar serves great cocktails and Chenin Kitchen/bar is so popular it is difficult to get in, but borders on claustrophobic in size/circulation. Very nice breakfast and coffee bar and very helpful staff. Slightly dated boutique decor in bedrooms but very comfortable and clean bed and bathroom."

"The breakfast ends at 9am on the weekend which is insane breakfast should be 10am on weekend no one wants to wake up early on a weekend. "

"This hotel has definitely went down over the years (we have stayed here many times in the past). Front desk staff was less than friendly. Breakfast is the least they can do and still call it continental breakfast. Felt like they don’t care about business much anymore."

"Ceiling fan very dirt and dusty. Remote control for TV did not have batteries, had to keep switching back and forth with Roku remote. Sent message if a complaint about next door being very loud and screaming. Sounded like young adults having a hotel party. I never got a response and the noise didn’t stop until 4am. Every single time I went in and out there was people out side soliciting begging for money. No security, if it was I never saw them around. "
