"Beautiful and quiet. The chef is amazing and our dinner was delicious. The manager/waiter was not so pleasant. I think it may have been a language barrier issue as we don’t speak Italian and he doesn’t speak English and he didn’t have much patience for translating. We also found the men who checked us in were not very welcoming. For such a beautiful hotel the front desk people should be much more welcoming. "This historic 'cave' room is very comfortable and fun. It's within the driving limited part of the town, but is just steps away from plenty of parking. The bed is very comfortable, the heating works great, hot water takes awhile but comes on. The Relais di Marchese is billed as a B&B but when I asked about breakfast they said there wasn't any. I was invited to have a coffee and croissant at the cafe down the street. highly recommended "
