"Hospitality second to none. Very nice home setting with great breakfast. I gave them an average rating on "Comfort" simply because their bath room was incredibly small. I am a big boy and my wife had several laughs at me meeting the challenge. Will certainly return if the occasion raises."

"Excellent hotel, with a beautiful Spa/Welness facility. We had a room on the south side of the building, apparently without airco. That was not that convenient, however both windows could be opened full! We had 2 nights with dinner in buffet style, that is certainly not something we will take again, the first evening the service was ok, but the second evening, the plates of the first dish where still on the table and it was difficult to order a drink. "My wife and I are from the US and wanted to visit Rüdesheim. We called the hotel the day before our arrival to confirm our reservation and talked to the Sweetest lady. She provided great information and told us we were all set. We arrived by train and were allowed to check in early. The check in process was easy, loads of helpful information was provided. They gave us a beautiful room on the German first floor (2nd floor) with an amazing view of the Rhine River. The room was so spacious and clean. The bathroom was a little small but had everything we needed. Other reviews mentioned the noise but we didn’t notice anything to complain about. We are staying in Germany for another five weeks and my wife is begging me to take her back to the Krone hotel for another three night visit. We highly recommend this hotel for location, breakfasts, cleanliness, friendly staff, wonderful rooms but most importantly the value. "
