"booked the 1 bdrm apartment, not what i expected, i dont know why they showed a picture of it looking out over the river, i think thats misleading to say the least. besides that, we did get an unrequired 2bdrm, 1 for us and other was for our suit cases??? Washing machine would have been the hi-lighting feature overall."

"The hotel is dated and tired looking, the room was too hot but the helpful staff provided fans for the 2 rooms we booked. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 lifts were broken so it was a long wait for the lift and we were on the 4th floor. The room was clean and location was perfect for the beach. Staff are absolutely wonderful and couldn't do enough for their guests. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We had a room with a beach view, we also took our fur baby with us and the staff were very accommodating to our needs. Reasonably priced and you get what you pay for. We stayed one night so for us, it was good enough."

"Our executive double room was extremely clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and professional. Our evening meal was delicious and good value. We particularly liked the gardens and ate on the terrace. The bathroom was a little "tired" but was spotlessly clean. Amazing value at £64 for the room per night. Thank you for a very pleasant stay"

"Clean and conveniently located within a 5-10 minute walking distance to the Shambles and York Minster. They offered fresh lemon and mint water upon entrance at the bar and the staff were all wonderful! And, it was nice to have the a/c even though the outside temperature wasn’t even much hotter than 75, even in mid-July. The beds, bedding and towels were as usual, wonderful."
