What a Truly Lovely Hotel

This is a gorgeous period property that has been tastefully updated to ensure guests enjoy modern facilities, good service, food and drink. Staff are proffessional and friendly and I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Great hotel in a pleasant setting, nice staff. Room was spacious and comfortable with a huge window with woodland views. Dinner was good but they need more healthy options on the menu as everything seems to come with chips. Breakfast was great. Overall, highly recommended!

Beautiful hotel and restaurant

2 night stay in September, staff very helpful, room very nice. Golf and range not on site - ten minute drive - I thought slightly misleading. Grounds immediately around hotel scenic but further walks around the 4 acres need grounds-people to make safe.

Opportunity for a bit of nostalgia when visiting family back home. Amazing grounds and gardens and the hotel has history going back to 1908. We were in good company, as the corridors are adorned with celebrities who have visited over the years.
