The Oliver House is a beautiful and historic property in Bisbee. If you are a fan of history, this is the place for you. The staff working the day I was there was friendly and helpful. The speakeasy in the hotel is the main attraction. It makes it convenient if you don't want to travel far. However, the main strip is just a few feet away, and you can get a meal or another drink at various other places on the main strip.

Unique haunted house, we watched a tv special about property and wanted to experience its haunted history. The stay was fun , saw no ghost, but room was pleasant with it own bath was nice. Cost for room was better than other hotels for about same age and bed size. its a no frills room. Just a bed and bath.enjoyable stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Oliver house! the staff was super friendly and the house was clean and cozy. Not much of a breakfast but would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Delightful accommodation and very clean. I was the only person in a reportedly haunted house so that was a bit unnerving. Ha ha. Thanks to the very warm female owner. Make sure you say hello to her when you stay. Thank you.

Would stay here again. Enjoyed our stay. Staff was wonderful. Room a little on the small side but definitely nice. We had a bit of difficulty finding the Oliver House but if I'd followed the directions E-Mailed, I'd have done a lot better. Got wrong directions on Google Map.

Highly recommend

The Oliver is a very quaint little hotel. It is old so the authentic wood floors & stairs do creak but the beds are comfy. You can sit outside in multiple different areas to look at the views of the mountains. The care takers are very knowledgeable as to places to see & are overall friendly people.

First tine in Bisbee ever. I loved it. Stayed at the Oliver House. I love old creaky places. The Oliver House did not disappoint. Very quaint, the old architecture of the building was on point. The staff were super friendly. I'll be back to stay longer next time!

A cozy and friendly home away from home

Great spot to stay. It was a little difficult to find but I blame that on Apple Maps. Very cozy and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was worried about having to share a bathroom but there was never any issues and everything was always very clean. The halls can be a little spooky at night but that really helps with the vibes and made things more fun. The view from the balcony is spectacular.

The property is fun because its a bit quirky. Its location is in the middle of the town but getting to the front door is like a mini treasure hunt. I would imagine parking could be a bit tight if you are there on one of Bisbees many weekend events. But, once you are parked, you can and should walk everywhere. This is not your 'reward points" sort of hotel. It has tons of character and no amenities unless you count the cool old balcony that faces the morning sunrise. It also has old wooden floors that creak, a claim to have ghosts and a fun very personal bar area were evening libations and the light morning fare are available to guests. The staff are all family members of the owners and are very accommodating and genuine real people.

Property captured the "Old Bisbee" vibe and is well run and very clean! Our Room 12 could use a few more flat surfaces, e.g. tables, shelves, dresser. Maybe something above the head of the bed or bedside tables for a lamp! Breakfast OK, but minimal. Maybe some more healthy choices???

I was disappointed there is no continental breakfast. All the b&bs we have been to they had prepared a breakfast at a time that was convenient. There is only little box in the cereal milk orange juice and to the yogurt along with coffee. The room would have been a lot nicer if there were some historic pictures of bisbee. And it would have been very nice if there would have been some magazines on bisbee or just some reading. Overall the room was was fine the bed was very comfortable.

Not the experience seeking at all!

I booked this room and actually made a terrible mistake. I didn’t realize how old it was or lack of amenities with this property. For instance there is no AC so the room was very stuffy. I couldn’t even imagine staying here in the summer. There is no refrigerator in the room so I had sports drinks which were warm and leftover food which I had to throw away. We tried to leave the windows open but there was no breeze it was awful. The place is very old so you hear ever moment of other guests, even hear cell phones from other room. The bathroom is barely adequate, the parking for this property is essentially partially down a street. If you’re looking for an old creepy hotel perhaps you might like this place. However if you had a long day filled with activities and looking for a comfortable place to rest this place isn’t it. Again I place a lot of blame on myself for not researching enough of this place. The caretaker who did check us in was very nice so nothing to say bad about the service. Again not the experience I was seeking.

Oliver house hotel is a classic themed hotel of the mid 1900s . Wood floors c creaking staircase , great deck view. Yes beds are very comfortable! We loved our stay in this “haunted” hotel. Originality & decor a huge plus.

Unique old building is put to good use by new family owners. The Speakeasy lounge has windows that open to fragrant trees and vines for morning coffee and in the evening a friendly server proved to be a great conversationalist.
