"Always had good stay with village before but this time there was problem at check in as I booked through Expedia. Paid through Expedia, and only had to pay for late check out at hotel but they tried to take full stay and the extra payment. They kept saying there was issue as there was insufficient fund in my card but I had already paid for stay. They blamed Expedia for this. Already a bad start to the stay. The rooms itself are good then when it came to the next day, even though we paid for late checkout cleaning staff opened the door while we were sleeping at 11. No knock prior. Overall bad experience this time. "

"One night stay en route to Heathrow from West Wales. Great location, good price and everything chargers on site. Staff were very welcoming, room was clean and comfortable. "

"The staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and the bed comfortable but niether the shower or the bath could be used. The bathplug would not stay down so bath could not be filled and the knob to alter it to the shower would not stay up so the shower could not be used. The hot tap in the sink did not turn off fully. In my opinion this room was not fit to be let due to this. It was room 5. There was no one there when we left at 10.15 to talk to about this. Belinda Canning "
